Version 1.3.0 (now with WebGPU support!)

Inspired by a 1979 classic.

The buzz of neon lights gently caressing this weird arcade machine, a pocket full of quarters worth in bitcoin, and a cheat for unlimited continues.

First christmas jingles are playing on the quantum radio as you casually grab the joystick, which is actually a mouse.

You don't know it yet, but this is the best it will ever be.

Notes

1. 💻 Windows Version link at the bottom (recommended!)
2. 🤖 Game title is a stab at AI naming (the old AI splash has been removed)
3. 🗺️ It may not look it at first, but the game is quite strictly 2D.
4. 🫠 Full disclosure, this had no right being this much fun to make.

Highlights

• Speed is love, speed is life!
  
•  Controls:
  • play with just the mouse (Left Button: Guns, Right Button: Engines)
  • or use a Mouse/Touchpad and W (Engines) and F/Shift keys (Guns)
•  Day/Night Cycle
•  UFOs are dangerous. but spawn only at night
  • fly to the dark side of the planet (generally to the left at start)
  • you will definitely know it's night
•  Thrusters can be weapons in a pinch

Known issues

• Unity Visual Effects Graph does not support WebGL yet, so the motion star field is only visible in the Unity Editor or the Windows build
• WebGL has some problems with the colliders in the Synty Polygon Sci-Fi Pack that I have used. I applied a few workarounds, but if an asteroid can't be hit, feel free to file a bug report (with me, Synty, or Unity)
